About Peppi

It's ME!  Peppi! 

And no, that's not just a stage name. Here's how it all began:

 I was the attention deficit, hyper-active, germaphobe middle child of a Baptist preacher and had to follow in the shadow of an older sister who was "perfect!" (Insert eye-roll here).  But wait. That's not all. I was also raised on a drug rehab.  You read that right. A drug rehab! You don't know what to do with that one, do you?  And then, if all that wasn't enough, they went and threw in a ridiculous name like "Peppi"! Yes, THEY NAMED ME AFTER A CARTOON SKUNK!  But isn't it the perfect name for a Christian Comedian? God knew!

It doesn't matter to me if the stage is a piece of plywood stacked on top of milk crates (been there, done that), or if it's the view from a three-tier balcony with my name in lights on the marquee outside (yep, there too), I consider every audience, no matter the size, a gift and a privilege to bring the opportunity to laugh. Laughter truly is healing. Even the Bible says so! And don't we need healing today? I truly am so blessed to be called to this ministry of light, life, love and laughter. Who knew it could be this much fun?
